Luxor International Airport
In 2001, work began on the architectural and civil works to develop and extend the current airport in Luxor, Egypt in order to accommodate the touristic growth of Luxor City. The project is valued at 400 million Egyptian pounds and was completed in 2005:
- The project includes architectural, civil, electrical, telecommunication, mechanical and sanitary works.
- The electrical and communication works include the main power stations, substations, fire-fighting systems, flight information, as well as other communications with the control tower.
- The mechanical works include pumping stations, underground water reservoir and air conditioning stations.
