Embaba Mega Educational Complex
The site of the former Embaba Airport (101 hectares) was redeveloped to provide services for the people in the area, with an emphasis on educational purposes.
Between 2002-2004, 1400 million Egyptian pounds were invested in reinterpreting this area, which lies in western El Moneira (Embaba) to the north of Giza in Egypt.
The project includes:
- Construction of 40 schools (primary, preparatory and secondary) and for each school there is an:
- Average total area of 4000 m²
- Average build area of 1000 m²
- Average of 1000 pupils/school
- Public garden (Giza International Garden)
- Total area of 31.5 hectares of sport facilities
