Through this partnership, the duo designed hundreds of projects including buildings, bridges, factories and airports. Moreover, Prof Bakhoum taught at Cairo University for over 40 years and was the author of numerous technical papers and participated actively in many international conferences. He was a fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (UK), member of the Egyptian Engineering Society (ESE), fellow of ASCE, member of ACI, and member of IABSE as well as various other engineering and academic institutions.
