International Coastal Road
The northern coastal road, on the Egyptian coast of the Mediterranean Sea, extends from Rafah in the east to Marsa-Matrouh in the west, with a total length of about 1,000 km. ACE acted as the consultant for sections 3, 7, 8, and extension 7, as well as for the arteries connecting the Nile Delta with the coastal road for a total length of about 250 km including 24 bridges and 4 main interchanges. The contract for this multi-facted project, executed between 1993 and 2004, was 1.3 billion Egyptian pounds.
