About us: History - 1960s

The 1960s witnessed the expansion of the partnership’s activities throughout the Arab world. The first project carried out abroad was the structural design of the first production line of the Yamama Cement Factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Soon after in 1965, they were awarded a contract comprising the redesign of the runways and taxiways of the Kuwait International Airport, as well as the construction supervision of the project.

The firm continued to take on more projects in the Arab world and this rapid expansion led to the change of the firm's name to ‘Arab Consulting Engineers, Moharram.Bakhoum’ - ACE.
