Sharm El-Sheikh Diesel Power Station

In 1994-95, ACE played a significant role in the execution of Sharm El-Sheikh diesel power station on Egypt’s Red Sea Coast. The project consisted of three main parts: the power house building, the transformer room and the pump house:

Power House Building
The building consists of two floors 50 m in length, 35 m wide and 15.6 m high. The ground floor contains four diesel engines with a total area of 1,400 m² and a 300 ton steel structure. The first floor contains the switch gear room and a control room with a total area of 1,040 m².

Transformer Room
The building consists of a ground floor only of 17.5 m in length, 3.6 m wide and 3 m high for a total area of 62 m². The building houses 4 transformers.
